1. Acceptance of Terms By accessing or using GuestLens (guestlens.ai), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.


2. Description of Service GuestLens provides an AI-powered software platform that allows professional photographers and event organizers to upload event photos, and allows guests to find their photos using facial recognition technology.


3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

  • Photographers/Organizers: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You warrant that you own the copyright or have the necessary licenses to upload and distribute the event photos you process through GuestLens.
  • Consent: Photographers and organizers are responsible for ensuring they have the right to photograph guests at their events. By uploading a selfie to GuestLens, guests provide explicit consent for us to process their biometric data solely for the purpose of matching them with their event photos.


4. Intellectual Property

  • Your Content: GuestLens claims no ownership rights over the photos you upload. The copyright remains with the photographer or the original creator.
  • Our Platform: The GuestLens website, logo, software, AI workflows, and design are the exclusive property of GuestLens and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.


5. Prohibited Conduct You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Upload photos that depict illegal acts, non-consensual explicit content, or content that violates the rights of others.
  • Attempt to hack, destabilize, or reverse-engineer our facial recognition software or servers.


6. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, GuestLens shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the service.


7. Disclaimer of Warranties Your use of the service is at your sole risk. The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. GuestLens does not warrant that the AI matching will be 100% error-free, or that the service will be uninterrupted or completely secure.


8. Changes to Terms We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
